Spartan GoCam And COVERT (former wireless) Trail Cameras.
Two of the Spartan cameras are Verizon 3g and the other is an AT&T 3g. I used them as wireless cameras, but deactivated them last season. Due to being 3g devices (both Spartan and COVERT) it is my understanding that these cannot be reactivated/used as wireless cameras. Details are below:
1. Spartan - Verizon (last 3 of meid - 02C): This camera goes straight to setup when batteries are added regardless of the switch position and cannot be changed. There may be a simple, quick fix. The battery tray is good.
2. Spartan - AT&T (last 3 of imei - 699): This camera works, has one broken battery spring.
3. Spartan - Verizon (last 3 of meid - CCB): This camera works, but batteries seemed to drain quicker than normal when used as a cell camera. I’m not sure when used as a regular cam.
4. COVERT (last 3 of imei - 512): This camera will not power on / parts.
5. COVERT (last 3 of imei - 717): This camera works. Menu buttons are a bit hard to use, photo playback/view button is very difficult to use.
